Flores Timur - Gunung berapi Lewotobi Laki-laki erupsi dan memaksa ribuan orang pengungsi. Begini kondisi warga di pengungsian.

Masyarakat yang dievakuasi dari rumahnya akibat letusan Gunung Lewotobi Laki-Laki beristirahat di tempat penampungan sementara di Flores Timur, Senin (15/1/2024). Sebanyak 9 desa di tiga kecamatan di sana terdampak. Warga terpaksa mengungsi.

Saat ini, Pemkab Flores Timur dibantu TNI dan Polri sudah membangun posko pengungsian dan dapur umum di sejumlah titik. Warga di sana masih butuh bantuan, terutama makanan dan obat-obatan.

Aktivitas vulkanik Gunung Lewotobi Laki-laki terus meningkat. Gunung yang kini berstatus awas atau level IV ini sesekali menyemburkan abu vulkanik hingga guguran awan panas dan lava.
