Istanbul - Sejumlah siswa TK dan SD kelas satu di Turki kembali masuk sekolah, setelah Turki membuka kembali sebagian sekolah di tengah pandemi COVID-19.

Untuk pertama kalinya sejak sekolah ditutup pada 16 Maret, akibat pandemi Corona, siswa taman kanak-kanak dan kelas satu diizinkan kembali untuk kelas tatap muka di sekolah-sekolah di seluruh Turki.

Sementara itu, pendidikan untuk siswa dari kelas yang lebih tinggi akan dilanjutkan secara online.

Sebelumnya, sekolah di Turki direncanakan buka pada 31 Agustus. Namun karena kasus COVID-19 semakin tinggi maka pembukaan sekolah ditunda hingga 21 September 2020.

Pembukaan sekolah juga dilakukan dengan protokol kesehatan yang ketat.

Saat ini kelas yang diberikan kepada para siswa hanya lima jam pelajaran dengan durasi 30 menit dan 10 menit istirahat.

Menurut Kementerian Pendidikan Nasional, para murid akan menghadiri kelas satu kali dalam sepekan dari 21-25 September, dan dua kali pada 28 September-2 Oktober, sisanya akan dilakukan dengan belajar daring.

Namun, jika orang tua ragu dengan keselamatan anak-anak mereka, kehadiran di sekolah tidak akan menjadi hal wajib dan dapat memilih sekolah secara daring.
