Sao Paulo - Pandemi membuat pengangguran meningkat sehingga jumlah tunawisma pun meningkat pesat. Mereka memilih tidur dijalan karena takut tertular jika di penampungan.

Menurut survei resmi oleh Pemerintah Kota Sao Paulo, tunawisma meningkat 53% di ibu kota Brasil selama lima tahun terakhir, kini mencapai total lebih dari 25.000 tunawisma.

Banyak dari para tunawisma ini lebih memilih tinggal di jalanan daripada pergi ke tempat penampungan karena takut tertular virus Corona.
