Mexico City -

Sebuah kereta yang membawa 250 orang sebagian tergelincir di Meksiko. Setidaknya insiden ini melukai sedikitnya 15 orang penumpang.

Dilansir AFP, Senin (29/12/2025), lokomotif kereta keluar dari rel selama perjalanan di negara bagian Oaxaca selatan. Jalur kereta api khusus ini dioperasikan oleh angkatan laut Meksiko.

"15 orang terluka," kata Gubernur Oaxaca Salomon Jara di platform media sosial X.

Kereta tersebut beroperasi antara Teluk Meksiko dan Samudra Pasifik dan mengangkut penumpang dan barang.

Jalur tersebut diresmikan pada tahun 2023 sebagai proyek infrastruktur utama di bawah presiden saat itu Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador untuk mengembangkan Meksiko tenggara.
