Siprus - Kapal yang membawa 200 ton makanan untuk Gaza kembali ke Siprus setelah 7 relawannya tewas. Sayangnya ratusan ton makanan itu belum disalurkan ke warga Gaza.

Sebuah kapal kargo, satu dari tiga kapal bermuatan makanan kaleng tujuan Gaza, telah kembali ke pelabuhan Larnaca, Siprus, Rabu (3/4/2024).

Kapal itu merupakan kapal kargo pertama yang mengangkut bantuan kemanusiaan berupa 200 ton bantuan makanan dari badan amal World Central Kitchen (WCK) untuk Gaza via jalur laut.

Sayangnya kapal tersebut harus kembali ke Siprus dengan membawa ratusan ton bantuan yang belum disalurkan.

Kepulangan kapal tersebut imbas tujuh relawannya yang hendak menyalurkan bantuan tewas terkena rudal Israel.

Pendiri badan amal bantuan pangan World Central Kitchen (WCK), Jose Andres, menolak klaim Israel yang menyebut serangan udara yang menewaskan tujuh relawan kemanusiaan di Jalur Gaza dilakukan secara tidak sengaja. Andres menuduh militer Israel menyerang konvoi relawan kemanusiaan "secara sistematis".

Dia bahkan menyebut bahwa militer Israel telah mengetahui secara jelas pergerakan para relawan kemanusiaan yang bekerja untuk WCK di Jalur Gaza.
