Turki - Presiden Turki Recep Tayyip Erdogan mengunjungi para korban gempa di rumah sakit Istanbul. Erdogan mengunjungi para korban ditemani oleh istrinya Emine Erdogan.

Presiden Turki Recep Tayyip Erdogan mengunjungi para korban gempa di Basaksehir Cam dan Rumah Sakit Kota Sakura di Istanbul, Turki, Senin (13/2/2023).

Proses evakuasi korban gempa yang selamat dari puing-puing dan dibawa ke rumah sakit di Istanbul terus berlanjut.

Seperti dilansir CNN, Selasa (14/2/2023), gempa berkekuatan Magnitudo 7,8 itu mengguncang pada Senin (6/2) pekan lalu dan jumlah korban tewas dilaporkan terus bertambah setiap harinya. Banyak rumah-rumah dan bangunan tempat tinggal yang hancur akibat gempa tersebut.

Data terbaru dari otoritas Turki dan Suriah menyebutnya sedikitnya 36.217 orang tewas akibat gempa kuat tersebut. Secara spesifik, data terbaru dari Pusat Koordinasi Darurat Turki SAKOM melaporkan sedikitnya 31.643 orang tewas akibat gempa di wilayah Turki.
