Giza - Relawan 'Youth Love Egypt' bersihkan sampah yang terdampar di tepi Sungai Nil di Giza, Mesir, (29/9). Tujuannya untuk meningkatkan kesadaran lingkungan.

Sejumlah relawan 'Youth Love Egypt' melakukan aksinya untuk membersihkan sampai yang terdampar di Sungai Nil, Giza, Mesir, Kamis (29/9/2022).

Sampah ini terdiri dari bungkusan plastik, styrofoam, kain, dan masih banyak lagi. Hal itu menyebabkan Sungai Nil menjadi kotor dan bau.

Relawan mengumpulkan sampah ke dalam kantong plastik.

Sungai Nil ini merupakan sungai ekonomi penting yang mendukung pertanian dan perikanan. Maka dari itu, harus dijaga kebersihannya.

Menurut penyelenggara Yayasan 'Youth Love Egypt' dan Kementerian Irigasi serta Sumber Daya Air jelang COP 27, tujuan dari aksi para relawan tersebut yaitu untuk membersihkan air Sungai Nil dari sampah-sampah yang menggenang di tepi sungai.
