Lebanon - Silo di Pelabuhan Beirut, Lebanon, dua tahun lalu mengalami ledakan hebat. Hingga kini sisa-sisa strukturnya terus mengalami keruntuhan.

Penampakkan runtuhnya bagian utara silo biji-bijian di pelabuhan Beirut, Lebanon, Selasa (23/8/2022) waktu setempat.

Silo atau struktur yang digunakan untuk penyimpan biji-bijian di Pelabuhan Beirut, Lebanon, terus mengalami keruntuhan.

Bagian dari yang tersisa dari Silo perlahan-lahan runtuh setelah kebakaran yang terjadi karena biji-bijian yang difermentasi.

Silo berusia 50 tahun setinggi 48 meter ini sebelumnya telah bertahan dari ledakan dua tahun lalu dan secara efektif melindungi bagian barat Beirut dari ledakan yang menewaskan lebih dari 200 orang dan melukai lebih dari 6.000 orang dan merusak seluruh lingkungan.

Bagunan tersebut telah runtuh dua kali dan banyak orang di kota tersebut memperingatkan keruntuhan lebih lanjut.
