Petugas kepolisian anti narkoba Paraguay, National Anti-Drug Secretariat (SENAD) menebang tanaman ganja di Paraguay bagian utara, Selasa (24/5/2022) waktu setempat.

Menurut juru bicara SENAD Francisco Ayala, 183 hektar ganja telah ditebang dan dimusnahkan.

Ratusan hektar ladang ganja itu dihancurkan dalam seminggu terakhir.

183 hektar ladang itu dapat menghasilkan setara dengan 600 ton ganja.

Selain itu petugas keamanan juga menghancurkan tempat peristirahatan para pekerja ladang ganja.

Pemusnahan ladang ini sebagai bagian dari operasi yang diciptakan Aliansi Baru XXXII di Koloni Maria Auxiliadora departemen Ambabay Paraguay.
