Lebanon - Petugas Bea Cukai Lebanon menyita sembilan juta narkoba berupa pil Captagon di Pelabuan Beirut. Narkoba itu dikemas dalam jeruk palsu.

Menteri Dalam Negeri Lebanon Bassan al-Mawlawi memeriksa salah satu jeruk palsu yang diisi dengan narkoba berupa pil Captagon di Pelabuhan Beirut, Lebanon, Rabu (29/12/2021).

Melansir Arab News Kamis (30/12/2021) petugas bea cukai menyita hampir sembilan juta tablet Captagon, ujar menteri dalam negeri Bassam Mawlawi, mencatat kargo itu menuju negara Teluk.

Captagon adalah nama merek untuk fenethylline stimulan jenis amfetamin yang diproduksi sebagian besar di Lebanon dan Suriah.

Pil Captagon ditaruh ke dalam plastik kecil yang disembunyikan dalam jeruk palsu di antara pengiriman buah asli.

Otoritas Lebanon telah membuka investigasi untuk menentukan siapa pelaku pengedar narkoba ini.
