Sudan Selatan - Selain perang saudara dan korupsi, perubahan iklim menjadi ancaman baru di Sudan. Banjir akibat perubahan iklim telah mengancam mata pencaharian ribuan warga.

Setidaknya 623.000 orang telah terkena dampak banjir yang meluas di Sudan Selatan sejak Mei.

Seperti dilaporkan AP, Jumat (22/10/2021), Perserikatan Bangsa Bangsa (PBB) menyalahkan banjir terburuk di Sudan Selatan dalam 60 tahun yang terjadi akibat perubahan iklim.

Rakyat Sudan Selatan sulit untuk melihat masa depan yang stabil ketika terus mengungsi, satu pelajaran yang dipetik selama perang saudara yang menelantarkan jutaan orang sebelum perjanjian damai pada 2018.
