China - 220 kapal Angkatan Laut China tertambat di wilayah sengketa Laut China Selatan. Pengerahan ratusan kapal itu disebut Filipina sebagai tindakan provokatif.

Menteri pertahanan Filipina, Delfin Lorenzana, mengatakan kapal-kapal China itu melanggar hak maritim Filipina.

Diketahui, lima tahun lalu pengadilan internasional menolak klaim kedaulatan China atas 90% wilayah Laut China Selatan. Filipina, Brunei, Malaysia, Taiwan, dan Vietnam telah menentang klaim China selama puluhan tahun namun ketegangan mulai meningkat dalam beberapa tahun terakhir.
